Congratulations to the Hampton Inn of Columbia, IL!  They recently scored an overall 98% on their Hampton brand Quality Assurance inspection.  This is a very impressive achievement!  Their category scores were as follows:  Cleanliness 100%, Condition 98%, Brand Standards 96%.  The brand inspection measures many aspects of the hotel, including overall operation & cleanliness, guest satisfaction scores, and compliance with brand standards.  Congratulations to GM Michelle Hiser and her team on a job well done!!

Congratulations to Miranda and her staff at the Litchfield Hampton for earning their 8th consecutive "Outstanding" QA inspection.  The brand inspections are very detailed and a final score of 96.7% is difficult to maintain!  Great job and keep up the good work!

And the winner is....the Hampton Inn of Lincoln, IL!  They collected over 450 food items to donate to their local pantry. HVM's 6 hotels collected over 1,200 food items in all!  What a great way to help out those in need this holiday season!  Look for this to be an annual competition between our properties.  Thank you to everyone for your participation.  This was a great success!

Julie Burr, GM of the Hampton Inn Lincoln, was recently "locked up" for a good cause!  She participated in the MDA fundraiser that raised $16,595 for families in Logan County by going "behind bars" on November 19 at the Lincoln Firehouse.  She raised bail totaling $680.  MDA is a non-profit health agency who's mission is to cure muscular dystrophy, ALS, and similar diseases by funding worldwide research.  The Association helps to provide health care, support services, and education.  The Hampton Inn Lincoln is proud to have participated in this cause to help local families!

The Baymont Inn & Suites of Champaign, IL has won a national video contest sponsored by the Baymont corporate office!  Video tours have become a powerful marketing tool and continue to be the media of choice for leisure and business travelers.  The contest, which was presented to all Baymont properties, had two categories.  One showcased a tour of the property and the second dealt with what "Hometown Hospitality" means to the property.  Champaign Baymont participated in both categories and was chosen as the winner of "Hometown Hospitality."  Congrats to the Baymont Inn & Suites staff and to all those who participated in the making of the video!  Job well done!
