Jenna is responsible for the daily operational and sales activities in each hotel. She is a 2002 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, and has a background in the broadcast journalism industry.
During her college summer breaks, she completed internships with Fox News Channel and The Today Show in New York City. While with The Today Show, Jenna was responsible for completing research, organizing story shoots, and coordinating arrangements for the Friday Concert Series. Upon graduation, she spent a year in Orlando, Florida, working for Central Florida News 13 as an assignment editor.
Jenna began working for Hotel Ventures Management in 2004 and oversees the management, staffing, operations, and sales programs for each hotel. Her direct responsibilities include:
• Hotel management
• Staff placement & labor standards
• Hotel systems & daily operations
• Cleanliness & guest satisfaction scores
• Brand Quality Assurance inspections
• Sales programs & marketing/advertising
• Energy saving programs
She has ownership in the Litchfield, Lincoln, Evansville, and Champaign properties. Jenna is actively involved in industry and community activities, as that is an important part of staying connected within each hotel’s market. She currently serves on the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association Board of Directors, the City of Litchfield’s Tourism Advisory Council, the St. Francis Hospital Maternity Department Renovation Committee in Litchfield, and the University of Illinois at Springfield President’s Athletic Advisory Council. |
