  Lynn started her career in the hotel industry in 1999 with the purchase of the Baymont Inn & Suites in Champaign Illinois, and the construction of the Quality Inn in Haubstadt, Indiana in 2000.

With the management company, she is responsible for:
• Human Resources which includes the personnel and employee handbook; administering the benefit plan including 401K, health insurance, vacations and bonus plan for executive staff
• Accounting including payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger and P&L vs. budget comparisons
• Insurance Program including workers comp, property and liability and employment practices liability
• Weekly and Monthly reports of occupancy, ADR/RevPar and central res are created for each hotel
• Annual Budgets
• Business Plan Books which include a business plan of the 4 pillars of people, operations, sales & profit

Prior to her career in the hotel industry, Lynn was with McGraw Enterprises, Inc. since 1989 as the business manager for the Springfield and Litchfield, Illinois McDonald’s restaurants. She continues in that role overseeing the insurance program including workers compensation, property and liability, employment practices liability and health insurance. She serves as the trustee of the 401K plan. Lynn serves as a consultant for human resource issues for the more than 500 employees of McDonald’s restaurants.

Lynn has ownership in four hotels including Champaign, Lincoln, Evansville West and Evansville North. She is actively involved in the community, having served for several years on the Illinois 4-H Foundation Board including terms as vice president and marketing chairperson. She is also involved with the West Lincoln Broadwell School District and Lincoln High School District parent organization and sports boosters.
